Mid Century Modern Home – The modern mid-century term refers to the post-war architecture that became popular in the 1950s and was the basis for many of the suburbs that emerged after World War II. The architects of the time, such as Joseph Eichler, took the example of Prairie School architecture and designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. Windows abounded in these houses, which were designed to respect and blend with the natural world around them.
